Difficult Moods and Emotions

Sometimes it feels like our emotions have taken over. I can help you learn skills to manage difficult emotions and reduce patterns of depression, anxiety, and mania that get in the way of living your best life.

Sexuality Exploration

I believe physical pleasure is something we all deserve, but often the world tells us that our bodies or desires are not okay. Let’s explore sexuality, reducing sexual shame, and letting go of internalized sex-negative attitudes together.

Trauma and Attachment Wounds

When difficult experiences from the past interfere with your present, I can help you learn to feel safe in your body, put the past in the past, and retell your story from an empowered perspective.

Coping with Oppression

As an artist, activist, or helping professional, you know what it’s like to struggle within systematic oppression. We can’t change the systems in therapy, but we CAN learn ways to cope that provide a foundation for the change work we do in the world.

Fees for Individuals

My usual fee is $180 for a 60-70 minute therapy session. However, I am able to offer a sliding scale and biweekly sessions for clients who would be unable to access therapy at my full fee. If you have PPO insurance, I work with a service called Advekit which can help you seek reimbursement if your plan allows it. It is your responsibility to find out whether you can be reimbursed for out=of -network services; Advekit can help with that.

A time to create together, to witness, and to be witnessed

Our busy lives make it hard to set aside time to express ourselves. We start to feel like we’re just going through the motions, and we’re not sure what it’s all for. It’s hard to see possibilities outside of the loop we’re stuck in. We feel disconnected from ourselves and each other. In these groups, we will have time and space to express, play, and connect. We will move closer to our edges so we can see from new perspectives. We will create using multiple modes of expression, and skill and experience in any mode is not necessary. Please join us if you you have a yearning for more creative expression in your life. Check out my blog or more information about the practices we’ll use and materials your might want. The full fee is $80 per session; $300 if you pre-pay for 4 sessions; The full fee is $80 per session; $300 if you pre-pay for 4 sessions; $900 if you pre-pay for the 12 session burnout prevention workshop. Burn Out Prevention and Recovery for Helping Professionals

We know that the path to reducing burn out is to lean into that which nurtures us. When we spend so much time focused on others’ healing, it can be difficult to switch gears to tend our own creative processes. This play group will provide safe and brave space for you to tune into your own needs and express yourself while connecting with others. We will create a life enrichment plan to support you in continuing the self care habits you identify in this workshop series.

Arts-Based Case Consultation for providers of Neurodivergent and LGBTQ Affirming Therapy

Feeling stuck and uninspired? Have imposter syndrome? The language-based knowledge we have as educated helping professionals can sometimes get in the way of more intuitive knowing. Arts-based inquiry can help us to find new perspectives on professional challenges and learn more about the ways our own process is interacting with that of those we are trying to help.

Neurodiversity Affirming Queer/Trans/GNC Play Group

As neurodivergent queer and gender non-conforming people, we need safe spaces away from microaggressions, ignorance, and masking. This is a space where we can feel free to play and be ourselves. We will build connections with ourselves and each other to fortify ourselves for the everyday struggle. . Let’s take off our masks and enjoy creating together!

Gender Affirming Letters

As a Gender Affirming Letter Access Project (GALAP) Pledge signer, I offer free and low-cost letters required by insurers for gender-affirming medical gender treatments and procedures. My aim with these letters is to advocate for your body autonomy by stating that you have a diagnosis of gender dysphoria and are capable of informed consent. It is best if you already have researched the risks and benefits of the treatment or procedures you are seeking prior to meeting with me. For adults, I offer free letters after a single interview that usually takes 30-45 minutes. For minors (and others unable to legally consent for themselves), I offer one free session and the option to add a paid session if needed to to allow for time to interview the client and their legal guardian both together and separately. Schedule your Gender-Affirming Medical Care Letter appointment through my client portal or contact me if you have further questions. If you are located in another state, consult the Directory of GALAP Pledge signers.
